We believe in the Trinity, which is the doctrine that God is one, existing in three Persons with one Substance: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each Person of the Trinity is distinct and, yet, unified, co-existing in perfect harmony, working together to create and sustain the world and to bring about His plans for humanity, in general, and His chosen people, specifically. We believe that the Trinity is an essential part of understanding God and His purpose for us. By embracing the Trinity, we can have a deeper relationship with the Lord and better understand His will for our lives.

We believe in the divine inspiration, infallibility and inerrancy of the Bible, that it is the true and very Word of God. We believe that the Bible is our standard for life, and its truth, integrity, and relevance is of utmost importance. The Bible is not just a book, but a living guide, full of God’s wisdom and guidance. Through the Holy Scripture, we learn about God’s character, how to live and act, and how to grow in our spiritual journey. We believe that by reading and studying the Bible, we are able to draw closer to God and deepen our understanding of His love.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the central figure of Christianity, the Word of God made flesh. Jesus was sent by God to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins so that we could enjoy eternal life with Him. Jesus’ teachings on love, forgiveness, humility, and repentance are at the core of our beliefs. We also believe in Jesus’ resurrection, that it was proof of His Deity and the promise of eternal life for all those who believe. We are called to follow Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to share the good news of the Gospel. As we learn to love and serve others, we are reminded of Jesus’ example of love and sacrifice.

We believe in salvation by sovereign grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was sent by God to save us and give us eternal life. This salvation comes only through faith in Jesus and repentance of our sins. True salvation is an act of God’s grace in our lives by His Holy Spirit, producing the faith to believe and the good works that come forth as fruit of this new relationship in Christ. The Bible teaches us that no matter what mistakes we make, God’s love and grace are always available to us. Because of the faithfulness and promises of God, we have the assurance of our salvation in Christ, the promise of abundant life with Him during our lives, and eternal life with God when our time on earth is complete.

We believe in the importance of baptism. Baptism is one of the two sacraments Jesus instituted. It symbolizes the washing away of our sin and entrance into the body of Christ, His Church, by means of the work of the Holy Spirit as shown in the use of water. We use all three modes of baptism, sprinkling, pouring and immersion as the means of showing one’s new connection with Christ in obedience to His directives. We also practice the baptism of infants and children to show their inclusion in the blessings and provisions of the New Covenant in Christ while they are taught the Christian faith and grow in their understanding of Scripture to the point of their own personal profession of faith.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the unifying power between God and humanity, and is the source of our comfort, guidance, and strength. The Holy Spirit helps us the spiritual insight and ability to understand and appreciate the Bible, and helps us to live out its teachings in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, faithfully guiding us in our walk with God. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts for the operation and edification of His Church so that we can be worship and serve God as we share and spread His love.

We believe the Church is the universal body of Christ. We believe that the local church is a holy assembly of believers, united in faith and love. We strive to be a community of believers who are devoted in our faith in Jesus Christ and in our commitment to serve Him and His kingdom. We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another. The local church body is spiritually joined with all other authentic gatherings of God’s people globally along with the hosts of Heaven and those Christians who have gone on before us into the eternal Presence of God. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit in conjunction with the Holy Scriptures, we seek to join ourselves in His worship and to apply His truths as faithful disciples of Jesus.

We believe in the power of prayer, both individually and corporately, as an expression of faith in God's work in our lives. It is the object of prayer, God Himself as done according to Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit, not the act of prayer itself, that makes prayer a powerful tool to Christians. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian life and is used to talk to God and to communicate with Him, thereby growing closer in our relationship with Him. We pray for guidance, strength, healing, protection, and for our families, friends, and community. Through prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of God's will and His plans for our lives. When we pray, we open ourselves up to God and He will answer us in His own way and in His own time.
