Worship- Sundays at 9:30am
Worship is the explosion of intimacy between God and God's people. Week by week HOPE Church seeks to usher the worshipping community into God's presence by Scripture and song, prayer and confession, and celebrating the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper (Communion) every Sunday. Music is geared to connect people with the Holy God, and the preaching seeks to make Holy Scripture breathe life into our lives.
Everyone is welcome at Worship, from birth to adult. Here's how it works... Babies and children 4 and under, can enjoy Worship with their parents, or have fun & games in our staffed Nursery. Children aged 5 and up usually participate in Worship with their parents. If your child needs a break from the Sanctuary, feel free to take them to the Fellowship area where you can cater to their needs and continue to see and hear the Worship service on a monitor and audio system.
After Worship, everyone (babies included), gathers together for Fellowship.
Nursery - Sundays 9:30am-12:00noon
A staffed nursery is provided for newborns up to age 4 years. The nursery is available for the young children of our church during Worship, Fellowship and Sunday School hours.
Parents are free to keep their children with them throughout any and all of the events of the day, utilizing the Nursery services if and when they choose. HOPE Church is a flexible, loving and welcoming environment for children.
Fellowship - Sundays at 10:45am
Directly after 09:30am worship on Sunday's we gather together for fellowship in our cafe (usually at 10:45am). We drink tea and coffee, and eat tasty snacks while enjoying a sense of community in our loving congregational family.
Fellowship follows worship and preceeds our Sunday School classes.
Sunday School - Sundays at 11:10am
Our bible study classes "Sunday School" begins promptly at 11:10am every Sunday. Sunday School follows directly after Fellowship. We have different classes for adults, children & youth.
Adult "Sunday School" provides in-depth study of God's Word in the Sanctuary, while age specific Ministries take place for Children (Christ Wise Kids), Youth (Impact), and Young Adults (The Outlet).
HOPE4Kids - Childrens Ministry
HOPE4Kids is our comprehensive Children's Ministry dedicated to the needs of Children from Birth to 6th Grade. Our focus is on teaching and equipping children to become followers of Jesus Christ and then be able to apply their faith to the situations they face on a daily basis.
While "HOPE4Kids" is Hope's Children's Ministry, we look at the home as the primary teaching facility for children. The Church (and our Children's Ministry) are resources to enhance the parent's teaching.
HOPE Church has many activities that revolve around the children and their families. We have regular family movie nights, class teaching, Vacation Bible School and many other functions throughout the year.
HOPE4Kids has specialized teaching for the following two age groups:
Pre-Elementary (age 2-5)
Elementary (age 6-11)
We invite youth from 7th grade through 12th grade to join us as we have an impact for Christ in our Church, Community and the World. We are connected through worship, conversation and action. All youth are welcome in this ministry, so come see how you can have an impact!
Young Adult Ministry
The transition from youth to adult can be a difficult course to navigate. The Outlet offers ministry tailored specifically to young adults of post-high school age.

In 22 of Kentucky's Appalachian counties, more than 10% of occupied housing units are in substandard condition. No running water or indoor plumbing... crumbling foundations... sagging roofs... The median income of this region averages 50% below the U.S. median income. For over 20 years, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) has developed a relationship within this community through the Appalachian Impact experience.
We run 2 specific drives to send packages to the families in these counties. One providing "Back to School" supplies and another providing gifts at Christmas.
World Outreach is the mission mobilizing and sending arm of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). From its birth, the EPC established its World Outreach emphasis to enable the EPC to be a mission church.
